Key Responsibilities
As the Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in the daily success and positive atmosphere of our store. Your focus will be on:
- Supporting the Store Manager with all operational aspects of running the store and leading the team on the manager’s rostered days off.
- Using your retail and apparel experience to train, coach, and motivate the team to deliver exceptional service every day.
- Becoming BRA-FIT certified to provide expert, sensitive, and confidence-building fitting experiences for our customers.
- Learning and embodying the Bendon approach to customer service, ensuring every interaction makes women feel comfortable and supported.
- Excelling in key operational tasks including visual merchandising, stock processing, loss prevention, and achieving store KPIs.
Qualifications
We are looking for an enthusiastic leader who brings the following:
- Proven experience in a retail environment, preferably within apparel or a similar customer-focused role.
- A genuine passion for empowering women and creating a positive customer experience.
- Strong leadership potential with excellent coaching, communication, and team-building skills.
- A proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to manage daily operations and help achieve sales and service targets.
- The flexibility to work the required full-time schedule: Sunday to Wednesday 9:45 AM – 6:15 PM, and Thursday 11:45 AM – 6:15 PM.
