Key Responsibilities
You will provide essential support that makes a direct difference in the daily lives of our residents. Your key duties will include:
- Assisting Resident Care Workers with personalized, non-medical resident care and daily living activities.
- Helping to escort and transport residents safely to various areas within the residence, such as dining rooms, common areas, and activity spaces.
- Conducting regular temperature checks for residents as part of our ongoing wellness monitoring.
- Recording and monitoring resident temperatures during meal services in the dining hall.
- Providing companionship and engaging with residents in a respectful, caring manner.
- Contributing to a clean, safe, and positive living environment.
Qualifications
We are looking for a kind and reliable individual who possesses:
- A genuine passion for caring for seniors and a compassionate, patient demeanour.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a care team and follow directions.
- Reliability and flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
