About the Role
This is a permanent, full-time position offering a minimum of 30 hours per week on a rostered schedule from Monday to Sunday. As part of our team, you’ll maintain high standards of cleanliness across a range of commercial sites in the beautiful Otago region. The role requires flexibility for weekend work, offering you the chance to be part of a supportive crew in one of New Zealand’s most vibrant areas.
Your Key Responsibilities
You’ll be trained to handle a wide range of commercial cleaning tasks to a professional standard.
- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including vacuuming carpets and curtains, rubbish removal, and sanitising toilets.
- Sweep, mop, dust, and polish all surfaces to maintain a pristine environment.
- Operate commercial cleaning equipment such as buffers, polishers, and industrial vacuum cleaners.
- Apply appropriate cleaning agents to remove stains, dirt, and build-up from floors and surfaces.
- Maintain floor surfaces through re-waxing and applying topical coatings as required.
- Ensure all work areas are left clean, sanitised, and free of dust, dirt, and debris.
