Key Responsibilities

In this customer-focused technical role, you will be responsible for the entire repair lifecycle. Your key duties will include:

  • Diagnosing, testing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of drone platforms and their components to a high standard of workmanship.
  • Performing essential software tasks like firmware updates, configuration, and calibration, followed by thorough functional testing and test flights to confirm airworthiness.
  • Managing DJI warranty and non-warranty repair cases from start to finish, ensuring all documentation and processes are followed accurately and efficiently.
  • Communicating clearly and professionally with customers via phone and email to explain technical findings, set realistic expectations, and provide updates on repair status.
  • Committing to your own continuous development by building expertise across DJI platforms and progressing along a defined pathway toward certifying to repair larger aircraft over 25kg.

Qualifications

We are looking for an individual with the right foundational skills and attitude to excel. The essentials for this role are:

  • A background in electronics, IT hardware repair, or a similar hands-on technical field that demonstrates strong problem-solving ability.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a genuine pride in delivering quality, reliable outcomes.

  • A high level of independence, ownership, and a logical, methodical approach to work.
  • The ability to learn new systems, tools, and technologies quickly.
