Key Responsibilities
In this specialised role, you will be responsible for performing high-standard electrical work within the secure airport precinct. Your duties will include:
- Performing electrical installations, maintenance, and upgrades within airport terminals and airside locations.
- Running, terminating, and testing cables for power, data, and fire safety systems.
- Strictly adhering to all airport-specific safety, security, and compliance protocols.
- Troubleshooting electrical systems and ensuring all work meets project specifications and timelines.
- Coordinating effectively with site supervisors and project managers to ensure seamless workflow and communication.
Qualifications
To be considered for this secure site role, you must possess the following non-negotiable requirements:
- A current NSW Electrical Licence.
- A valid Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) or the willingness and ability to obtain one immediately.
- EWP tickets for both over and under 11 metres (Boom Lift).
- A Construction Induction White Card.
- Proven experience in large-scale commercial, civil, or infrastructure electrical projects.
- The ability to pass a comprehensive security background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
- Your own full PPE and basic hand tools.
- Must be available for ongoing work in the Mascot/Botany area.
