OpenAire is seeking an experienced Aluminum MIG Welder to join our custom manufacturing team. This role is ideal for a skilled tradesperson with at least three years of hands-on aluminum welding experience in a production setting. Key Responsibilities
In this hands-on role, you will be a key contributor to our manufacturing process, responsible for:
- Performing high-quality Aluminum MIG welding on custom products, ensuring work meets precise specifications and deadlines.
- Reading and interpreting work orders, drawings, and welding procedures to guide your tasks.
- Maintaining a strong focus on quality, with keen attention to detail in every weld and fabrication step.
- Following all company Health & Safety policies rigorously to protect yourself and your colleagues.
- Collaborating effectively within a team to ensure smooth workflow and timely project completion.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work station.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- A minimum of three (3) years of proven experience with Aluminum MIG welding in a custom manufacturing or similar environment.
- The ability to become CWB certified (in-house training will be provided to achieve this).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- The ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting to meet production deadlines.
- Good physical fitness, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- A demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and safe work habits.
