Key Responsibilities
As a Housekeeper, you will be a key player in maintaining our high standards of cleanliness and patient safety. Your primary duties will include:
- Performing routine cleaning and janitorial tasks in patient rooms, public areas, and common spaces using established hospital protocols.
- Conducting thorough discharge cleaning in inpatient rooms to prepare them for the next admission promptly and efficiently.
- Setting up and adjusting rooms as needed, which includes changing linens, mopping, and arranging furnishings.
- Maintaining cleaning equipment in proper working order and notifying supervisors of any maintenance needs for equipment or facilities.
- Providing a comforting and professional presence during direct patient interactions while performing your duties.
Qualifications
This role is an excellent entry point into the healthcare field. The requirements are:
- No prior experience is necessary we provide training.
- Must be available to work the required shifts: 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM and 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM, including rotating weekends and holidays.
- Must be physically capable of extensive walking and standing.
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred but not mandatory.
- A compassionate, reliable, and detail-oriented attitude is essential.
