Key Responsibilities
This is a dynamic role where no two days are the same. Your primary focus will be on ensuring our plant runs smoothly and cleanly.
- Your main duty will be the thorough cleaning of lint and debris from our fixed plant and production machinery, which is crucial for safety and efficiency.
- You will assist the maintenance team with general tasks, repairs, and keeping the entire production floor tidy and organized.
- The role involves physically demanding work, including repetitive lifting (5kg-15kg), bending, and being on your feet for most of the day.
- You will follow all safe work procedures diligently, contributing to our strong safety culture.
- There may be opportunities to assist with moving goods using a forklift, and training can be provided if needed.
- You’ll need to be flexible and adaptable, ready to tackle whatever task helps the team and the plant operate successfully.
Qualifications
We are looking for a reliable individual with a great attitude and willingness to learn. The key requirements are:
- A positive, “can-do” attitude and a strong willingness to be part of our safety-first culture.
- Good physical fitness with the ability to perform repetitive lifting and manual tasks throughout your shift.
- The ability to work well in a team within our multicultural workforce and also to self-manage when given a task.
- Flexibility with weekly shifts, as some variation may be required.
- The ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal work instructions.
- A current forklift licence and LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out) training are advantageous but not essential, as training can be provided.
