Key Responsibilities
As an MC Driver with our Mildura team, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transport of goods. Your core duties will include:
- Safely operating MC-class vehicles, including B-Doubles and Road Trains, on assigned local and or interstate routes.
- Maintaining an unwavering commitment to a Zero Harm safety culture in every aspect of your work.
- Adhering strictly to all Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations, fatigue management regulations, and road transport laws.
- Conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and completing all required documentation accurately.
- Representing Monaghan Logistics professionally in all customer interactions.
- Demonstrating flexibility to meet varying business demands, which may include different run types and schedules.
- Loading and unloading bulk tipper trailers as required, utilizing your experience with this equipment.
Qualifications
We are looking for professional drivers who meet our high standards. To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A current, valid MC (Multi-Combination) Driver’s Licence (essential).
- A proven and demonstrable focus on safety with a Zero Harm mindset (essential).
- Previous hands-on experience operating B-Doubles and Road Trains.
- Experience with bulk tipper operations.
- A solid understanding and commitment to Basic Fatigue Management and all Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a National Police Clearance.
- A reliable, team-oriented attitude with excellent communication skills.
