MIG Production Welder Required In Canada

R and W Metal Fabricating and Design Inc. in Paris, Ontario is seeking energetic and reliable Production GMAW (MIG) Welders to join our fabrication team. If you have experience in a fast-paced production environment and take pride in producing quality welded assemblies, we have an opportunity on either our day or afternoon shift. This is a hands-on role where your consistency and teamwork will be key to our success.

Key Responsibilities

As a Production Welder, you will be integral to our manufacturing process, responsible for:

  • Welding subassemblies and final products using GMAW (MIG) processes in designated production fixtures and jigs.
  • Working efficiently to meet production targets and quality specifications in a fast-paced setting.
  • Adhering strictly to all company health and safety protocols and wearing required PPE at all times.
  • Operating material handling equipment such as overhead cranes and forklifts as needed (training provided if required).
  • Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards in your work area.
  • Collaborating effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure a smooth workflow.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this production role will possess:

  • A minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience with GMAW (MIG) welding in a production or manufacturing environment.
  • The physical capability to stand for 9-hour shifts and frequently handle materials weighing up to 50+ lbs (lifting, bending, pulling).
  • A proven record of excellent attendance, punctuality, and a strong safety mindset.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • CWB certification and experience with overhead cranes or forklifts are considered valuable assets.
