Your Key Responsibilities
As a valued member of our painting team, you will be responsible for delivering excellent work from start to finish. Your day-to-day will involve:
- Preparing and painting both interior and exterior surfaces using a range of techniques and materials to meet project specifications.
- Applying paints, varnishes, and stains expertly using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
- Operating all painting equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring it is well-maintained.
- Collaborating with our project management team to ensure work is completed on time and to the agreed standard.
- Providing helpful, professional advice to clients on paint selection, colour schemes, and application methods.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe worksite, strictly adhering to all health, safety, and quality regulations.
Skills and Experience You’ll Need
We are looking for a qualified professional who brings both skill and a great attitude. The right candidate will have:
- A formal trade qualification in Painting.
- At least one year of proven experience working as a qualified painter in a professional setting.
- Strong technical knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and the safe operation of equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and a genuine commitment to delivering high-quality, lasting results.
- Good communication and customer service skills, with the ability to read and interpret job plans and specifications.
- The ability to work productively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- A solid understanding of and commitment to workplace health and safety standards.
