Key Responsibilities
In this hands-on role, you will manage painting projects from start to finish, ensuring every job meets our high standards. Your core duties will include:
- Reviewing job orders, inspecting worksites, and planning the most efficient work procedures and material requirements.
- Performing thorough surface preparation, including washing, scraping, sanding, filling holes/cracks, and applying chemical removers as needed.
- Protecting all non-painted surfaces with drop cloths, plastic, and painter’s tape.
- Mixing and matching paints, and applying primers, sealers, and topcoats using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Safely erecting scaffolding and using ladders/lifts to access high areas.
- Inspecting finished work for quality, performing touch-ups, and conducting a thorough final clean-up of the worksite.
- Strictly adhering to all health, safety, and hazardous material handling regulations.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following:
- A minimum of 2 years of professional painting experience.
- A proven commitment to quality workmanship and exceptional attention to detail.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as a collaborative team member.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and unwavering commitment to workplace safety.
- Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as required.
- The physical ability to work in various conditions (cold, dusty, indoor, and outdoor).
- A commitment to a long-term, full-time position.
- Clean police records and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
