About the Role

Your Key Responsibilities

You will be the on-site leader, responsible for the day-to-day execution and coordination of work.

  • Supervise and lead workers, apprentices, and subcontractors on-site, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
  • Coordinate and schedule all project activities, planning the sequence of operations to meet deadlines.
  • Estimate costs, order materials, equipment, and supplies, managing inventory and budgets.
  • Inspect sites, clean and prepare surfaces, and ensure work areas are ready for the next phase.
  • Write daily progress reports and participate in coordination meetings with other supervisors and managers.
  • Oversee work in various environments, including noisy outdoor settings and at heights.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant codes and project specifications.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate will bring a blend of practical experience and strong leadership abilities.

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of direct experience in a supervisory role within construction, maintenance, or a related trade.
  • Secondary school graduation certificate is required.
  • A valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation for travel to various sites.

  • Excellent oral communication, leadership, and team coordination skills.
