About the Role
This is a field-based supervisory position requiring you to be on-site, coordinating work and leading teams through inspections, maintenance, and new projects. You will manage schedules, materials, and personnel to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to specification. The role involves travel to different sites, working both outdoors and at heights, and requires flexibility to work early mornings, days, or evenings as needed.
Your Key Responsibilities
You will be the on-site leader, responsible for the day-to-day execution and coordination of work.
- Supervise and lead workers, apprentices, and subcontractors on-site, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
- Coordinate and schedule all project activities, planning the sequence of operations to meet deadlines.
- Estimate costs, order materials, equipment, and supplies, managing inventory and budgets.
- Inspect sites, clean and prepare surfaces, and ensure work areas are ready for the next phase.
- Write daily progress reports and participate in coordination meetings with other supervisors and managers.
- Oversee work in various environments, including noisy outdoor settings and at heights.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant codes and project specifications.
Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate will bring a blend of practical experience and strong leadership abilities.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of direct experience in a supervisory role within construction, maintenance, or a related trade.
- Secondary school graduation certificate is required.
- A valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation for travel to various sites.

- Excellent oral communication, leadership, and team coordination skills.
- Highly organized, reliable, and able to work effectively in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.
