Key Responsibilities

As a Production Operator I, you will perform a variety of essential tasks on our Chemraz production lines within a clean room environment. Your core duties will include:

  • Operating production equipment such as mills, extruders, and presses to manufacture high-precision polymer components.
  • Preparing and handling molds: storing, retrieving, assembling, and cleaning them for production cycles.
  • Loading and unloading curing ovens and performing finishing tasks like trimming and deflashing parts.
  • Conducting in-process and final inspections using gauges, micrometers, and other measurement tools to ensure the highest quality standards.
  • Accurately recording production data in our manufacturing execution system (e.g., SAP).
  • Strictly following all Work Instructions, SOPs, and safety protocols to maintain a clean, tidy, and safe production environment.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent practical experience.
  • The ability to learn detailed procedures and operate manufacturing equipment in a team-oriented setting.
  • Strong attention to detail, a quality and safety mindset, and basic computer literacy.
  • The physical capability to meet the job demands, including frequent standing/walking and lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • A proven strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn multiple skill sets across the production line.
  • Familiarity with SAP or a similar system is a plus but not required.
