Key Responsibilities
In this project-focused role, you will be a key part of our site delivery team, responsible for:
- Performing installations, terminations, testing, and commissioning on HV and LV electrical infrastructure.
- Reading and interpreting project drawings, specifications, and switching diagrams to execute work accurately.
- Conducting HV switching operations (if suitably authorised) and adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Performing fault finding, diagnostics, and maintenance on substation and distribution equipment.
- Collaborating closely with project supervisors, engineers, and other trades to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification.
- Maintaining detailed job documentation, test reports, and as-built records.
- Upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and housekeeping on site at all times.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:
- A current WA ‘A-Grade’ Electrical Licence.
- Proven experience working on HV and LV infrastructure projects, including within substations and on distribution networks.
- Authorisation or proven competency in HV switching (highly regarded).
- Essential tickets: Construction White Card, CPR-LVR, Working at Heights, and Confined Space.
- Current Driver’s Licence and the ability to pass a full pre-employment medical.
- A strong, practical understanding of electrical standards and safe work procedures in a high-voltage environment.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
