Key Responsibilities
Your role is critical to ensuring the safe, reliable delivery of an essential product to our customers.
- Safely operate a propane delivery truck to transport and deliver fuel to residential and commercial customers across our service area.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs and reports.
- Load and unload propane, adhering to all strict safety protocols for handling hazardous materials.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, building positive relationships with clients.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle and perform light-duty maintenance as needed.
- Accurately record and update account information, including tank details and delivery locations.
Qualifications
We are looking for a seasoned professional who meets specific experience and safety requirements.
- A valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements is required for this role.
- A minimum of three (3) years of verifiable experience in delivering petroleum products (propane, fuel oil, etc.) is strongly preferred.
- An impeccable safety record and a deep commitment to safe handling and DOT compliance are non-negotiable.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently are essential.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the job, including handling delivery hoses and performing vehicle checks.
