Key Responsibilities
In this diverse and hands-on role, you will be at the forefront of delivering technology solutions to our clients. Your day will involve:
- Servicing, installing, and maintaining a wide range of modern dairy equipment and machinery on farms across the Waikato region.
- Using strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills to diagnose issues and implement effective repairs.
- Performing MIG welding and mild steel fabrication tasks as required for equipment installation and repair.
- Working with basic low-voltage electrical circuits and demonstrating solid computer literacy for system diagnostics.
- Working both independently on-site and collaboratively as part of our close-knit workshop team.
- Communicating clearly and professionally with farmers and team members to ensure excellent service.
Qualifications
We are looking for a motivated individual with a practical mindset. The ideal candidate will bring:
- Proven hands-on trade or mechanical ability; experience with dairy or similar machinery is a strong advantage.
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills, with a practical, can-do attitude.
- Competency in MIG welding and mild steel fabrication.
- A basic understanding of low-voltage electrical systems and intermediate computer skills.
- A full New Zealand driver’s licence and New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well both independently and within a team.
