Key Responsibilities

As a key member of our fabrication team, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing weld preparation and welding to detailed specifications, blueprints, and mechanical drawings.
  • Interpreting weld symbols and setting up welding fixtures with precise parameters (amps, volts, positioning).
  • Executing grinding and finishing operations using manual and power tools for a quality finish.
  • Operating and maintaining welding equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Using precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers to inspect your own work.
  • Successfully passing an internal FCAW vertical uphill bend test (1-inch bevel, 1/8-inch gap) is a requirement for this role.

Qualifications

We are looking for a reliable and skilled individual with:

  • A minimum of 1 year of hands-on welding experience across various techniques.
  • The ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and weld symbols.
  • Steel-toed boots, a welding hood, and sleeved shirts (Trinity provides all other essential PPE).
  • Comfort working in varied ambient temperatures and the physical ability to stand and move actively throughout the shift.
  • Reliable transportation and a dependable work ethic suited for a fast-paced production environment.
  • Experience operating an overhead crane is a plus, but not required—we provide training.

Shift: Monday – Friday, 9:00 PM – 5:30 AM (3rd shift).
