Key Responsibilities
In this hands-on production role, your core responsibility will be to deliver consistent and efficient welding output. Your daily tasks will include:
- Performing MIG welding on hot rod steel components to meet production specifications and quality standards.
- Working effectively within a team-based production environment to meet daily targets and workflow requirements.
- Maintaining your assigned welding equipment and ensuring it is in good working order.
- Adhering to all shop floor safety protocols and maintaining a clean, organised work area.
Qualifications
To be successful in this position, you must meet the following clear requirements:
- A minimum of 3 to 4 years of proven experience in production MIG welding.
- Must have your own basic welding equipment (helmet, gloves, etc.).
- Must have CSA-approved steel-toed safety boots.
- The ability to work comfortably and cooperatively as part of a team.
- A reliable, punctual, and focused work ethic.
