Key Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect bathroom fixtures to maintain a hygienic environment.
- Spot clean work stations, cleaning messes that could be hazardous to ensure safety.
- Perform floor duties including sweeping and mopping floors, hallways, and stairs.
- Empty trash cans and other waste containers, ensuring proper disposal.
- Clean high touchpoint surfaces such as railings and elevator panels to reduce the spread of germs.
- Dust and remove cobwebs from furnishings including lights, windowsills, and air vents.
- Wash windows and interior walls to maintain a clean and polished appearance.
- Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove dirt and heavy debris from carpets and floors.
- Clean, disinfect, and polish bathroom and kitchen fixtures.
- Perform high dusting of lights and air vents as required.
- Complete other maintenance duties as assigned.
Qualifications
One year of experience is preferred but not necessary, as training will be provided. Candidates must be available to work in Edmonton and area locations. Good communication skills and attention to detail are essential. Candidates must be able to pass a criminal record check. A WHMIS certificate is required. Depending on the location, a background check and security clearance may be required. Flexibility to work morning, day, evening, or weekend shifts is important.
