An Australian owned engineering construction group is seeking experienced Electricians to join their project delivery team on Barrow Island for a significant HVAC remediation project. This is an opportunity to work in a unique environment, supporting Western Australia’s largest oil and gas field, with a 2:1 FIFO roster and a nine month fixed term contract. Key Responsibilities

• Install and terminate HVAC distribution boards and control panels, including internal fit out, labelling, and testing.
• Carry out cable pulling and containment works to support HVAC power, controls, and communications.
• Complete electrical isolations, reinstatement, and permit controlled works in live environments.
• Undertake work at heights using elevated work platforms, ladders, and fixed access systems in accordance with site requirements.
• Modify and reinstate lighting, general purpose outlets, and data services impacted by HVAC upgrades.
• Perform testing and verification progressively as works are completed, ensuring all installations meet specifications.

Qualifications

A current WA Electrical Licence is mandatory. LVR and CPR certification and a White Card are required. Proven experience working in live operational facilities is essential. Exposure to HVAC electrical systems is preferred but not essential. A strong understanding of permit driven work environments, including isolations, energisation processes, and working under controlled access conditions, is required. A safety first mindset with the ability to work within strict procedures and client requirements is essential. Full Australian working rights are required.
