Key Responsibilities
You will play a hands-on role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse dock activities. Your key duties will include:
- Assisting in the management of all dock operations, including goods receipt, sales returns, and vendor returns.
- Executing supplier return processes and managing the daily and monthly workflows for returned and discontinued goods.
- Performing quality checks and documentation for incoming shipments (e.g., book verification, transfer documentation).
- Managing, scheduling, and dispatching on-site temporary or contract personnel to meet operational demands.
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all processes comply with company standards.
- Completing additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor to support overall warehouse efficiency.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this operational role will possess:
- Proven experience in warehouse, logistics, or dock operations.
- Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail when handling documentation and goods.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced, physical environment.
