Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a forklift to move, load, and unload stone slabs from trucks and within the warehouse, following all safety protocols.
- Assist in preparing samples for client presentations, ensuring each piece is clean, correctly sized, and properly labelled.
- Pack and dispatch customer orders to a high standard, using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transport.
- Support stock organisation and inventory by keeping accurate counts and maintaining clear records of incoming and outgoing materials.
- Provide excellent service when liaising with customers onsite, answering basic questions and directing them appropriately.
- Maintain a safe and organised work environment, cleaning work areas and reporting hazards immediately.
- Use overhead crane as needed for moving heavy stone slabs; training may be provided for the right candidate.
