Welders Required in Taiwan

A long-running shipyard and steel fabrication firm in Taiwan is hiring welders for marine and structural projects in Keelung and Kaohsiung. The role covers MIG, TIG, and stick welding on steel plate, pipe, and structural beams. The position is full-time with eight-hour shifts and paid overtime when projects push hard. Starting pay sits between NTD 45,000 and NTD 60,000 per month plus shift premiums, which matches the current market rate for ticketed welders in Taiwan.

The yard supports both certified welders and skilled workers on relevant visas. Each welder works under proper extraction with modern machines and good lighting. Strong welders move into chargehand or QC assistant roles within two years.

Company Overview

The hiring company builds and repairs steel parts for ships, offshore platforms, and large machinery frames. The business runs two yards and a small mobile crew. Each yard has a foreman and a QC lead who sign off on critical joints. The shop culture rewards careful prep, clean joints, and steady output.
