Key Responsibilities
As a Painter within our specialised construction team, your role will be critical to achieving the flawless finish our yachts are renowned for. Your responsibilities will include:
- Executing meticulous surface preparation on large-scale carbon fibre composite structures.
- Applying high-quality paint systems to exacting specifications, ensuring a perfect, durable finish.
- Upholding the highest standards of workmanship and ensuring all quality assurance (QA) procedures are strictly followed.
- Working efficiently to ensure project milestones and deadlines are met without compromising quality.
- Collaborating closely with the broader construction team to solve problems and maintain workflow.
Qualifications
We are looking for painters who combine skill with the right attitude. The key requirements are:
- A minimum of 2 years of professional painting experience.
- A flexible, proactive “can-do” attitude and a practical, hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- A strong team player mentality with the ability to plan and execute work to meet deadlines.
- An unwavering commitment to a high standard of workmanship.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Must be a New Zealand resident or hold a valid New Zealand work visa. Only applicants with an existing legal right to work in New Zealand will be considered.
