Key Responsibilities
You will be the key leader ensuring seamless production execution and team performance. Your core duties will include:
- Providing direct oversight and management of front-line, hourly manufacturing employees on the shop floor.
- Ensuring daily production activities meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
- Utilizing your technical knowledge to resolve operational issues and make decisions within established procedures.
- Integrating your team’s work with other functions to achieve overall area goals.
- Developing strong team capabilities through coaching, communication, and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Explaining technical information clearly and serving as a reliable point of contact between the shop floor and other departments.
Qualifications
To be successful in this leadership role, you must possess:
- A substantial track record of 7-8 years of experience in Manufacturing and Production Supervision, with hands-on shop floor management.
- A knowledge level comparable to a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead and develop a team.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities to challenge processes and drive improvements.
- A committed, strategic mindset with the ability to prioritize work in a dynamic environment.
