Key Responsibilities
As the Store Leader, you will be the driving force behind your store’s success. Your essential duties include:
- Recruiting, training, mentoring, and developing a team of leaders and associates. Fostering an inclusive, open-door culture, managing schedules and payroll, and driving overall associate engagement.
- Ensuring an outstanding, safe experience for pets, pet parents, and associates. Leading community initiatives, maintaining store standards, and handling customer concerns with professionalism.
- Analyzing performance metrics to achieve sales, profitability, and shrink targets. Managing store expenses, executing corporate strategies, and communicating business objectives effectively to your team.
- Upholding the highest standards of pet care and safety, taking immediate action for any sick or injured pet, and ensuring compliance with all related policies and procedures.
Qualifications
The ideal leader for our pack will possess:
- 4 to 6 years of progressive retail leadership or customer-focused management experience.
- Full-time availability with the flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Strong proficiency in computer applications and business reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to remain calm under pressure, with outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A genuine passion for pets and their well-being.
