Key Responsibilities

  • Repairing and replacing mechanical components such as lids, hinges, wheels, and locking mechanisms.
  • Troubleshooting, inspecting, and maintaining hydraulic systems on specialized containers.
  • Applying protective coatings and treatments to combat rust and corrosion.
  • Ensuring all repaired containers meet strict safety, quality, and regulatory standards before returning to service.
  • Maintaining accurate service records and documentation for all repair and maintenance work.
  • Adhering to all safety protocols and contributing to a hazard-free shop environment.

Qualifications

We are looking for a detail-oriented technician with the following qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in welding or a related field is a strong asset.
  • A minimum of 2+ years of proven experience as a Container Repair Technician or in a similar heavy equipment repair role.
  • Proficiency in welding (MIG/Stick), cutting, and metal fabrication techniques.
  • Familiarity with hydraulic systems is highly desirable.
  • The physical ability to safely lift up to 100 lbs and perform demanding tasks in a shop environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
