Key Responsibilities
As a Mechanical Assembler Technician, your precision and skill will directly impact the quality of our final product. Your primary duties will include:
- Reading and accurately interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and detailed work instructions to guide assembly tasks.
- Installing, fitting, mounting, and aligning components, assemblies, and sub-assemblies according to established standards.
- Performing operational testing, troubleshooting, and diagnosing mechanical issues on the production line or during repair work.
- Safely and effectively operating a variety of hand tools, power tools, and precision measurement equipment.
- Tracking components as they are installed and completing all required assembly paperwork with accuracy.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workstation, adhering strictly to all company safety protocols and wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participating in training other personnel and contributing positively to the team environment.
Qualifications
We are seeking a dependable individual with a solid foundation in mechanical work. The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of two (2) years of demonstrated hands-on experience in mechanical assembly, maintenance, or a closely related field. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions is required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
- Proficiency in safely using a wide array of hand and power tools.
- The physical ability to meet the job’s demands, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs, bending, stooping, climbing, and working in confined spaces or at heights.
- A positive, adaptable attitude and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as a collaborative team player.
