Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be central to our daily warehouse operations. Your primary duties will include:
- Safely and efficiently operating forklifts to move, locate, stack, and count merchandise throughout the warehouse.
- Loading and unloading trucks with care to ensure product integrity and timely dispatch.
- Performing pre-operation equipment checks and completing daily maintenance logs to ensure forklifts are in optimal working condition.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering strictly to all safety protocols and OSHA standards.
- Accurately verifying and documenting loads and movements using warehouse management systems or paperwork.
- Assisting with other general warehouse tasks and duties as directed by the supervisory team to support overall operational flow.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who combine the right certifications with a proactive attitude. The successful applicant will have:
- Proven experience (1-3 years preferred) as a forklift operator in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- A valid forklift operator certification is required.
- A strong understanding of warehouse operations, safety standards, and best practices.
- The physical ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including standing for extended periods and handling materials.
- Good attention to detail, reliable problem-solving skills, and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
