Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be a vital part of our maintenance crew, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our production equipment. Your key duties will include:
- Developing, scheduling, and performing preventative maintenance routines using our MEX maintenance system.
- Fault finding, diagnosing, and repairing electrical issues on a wide range of production machinery.
- Working with PLC installations, variable speed drives (VSDs), and soft starters for maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic programming.
- Commissioning, testing, and certifying new electrical installations and modifications.
- Interpreting technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex electrical and automated systems.
- Strictly adhering to all workplace health and safety (WHS), food safety, and environmental protocols.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this industrial role will possess:
- Relevant electrical trade qualifications and a current NSW Electrical Licence.
- Proven experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment; exposure to PLCs, VSDs, and soft starters is highly regarded.
- A strong work ethic, a proactive attitude, and a solid understanding of electrical maintenance and repairs.
- The ability and willingness to work a rotating shift roster that includes day, afternoon, night, and weekend shifts.
- Excellent teamwork skills combined with the ability to work autonomously when required.
- A commitment to safety and a willingness to learn new computer systems and undertake further training.
