Responsibilities
- Perform a range of site maintenance activities, either to support others or to achieve pre-established outcomes.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment and systems for emergency repairs and carry out preventive maintenance inspections.
- Provide operational support services and sometimes act as first-line supervisor of a transactional operations area, using existing systems and protocols.
- Supervise a team performing routine work.
- Design your own monthly schedule and, if necessary, assign work to others to speed up office workflow and ensure high-priority tasks get done.
Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
- High School / FE College (2 A Levels) or equivalent.
- Japanese communication capability at business and maintenance technical level is MUST.
- Sound experience and understanding of straightforward procedures or systems.
- Basic experience coordinating the work of others.
- Works without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on planning, organizing, prioritizing, and overseeing activities to efficiently meet business objectives.
- Works without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on developing, monitoring, interpreting, and understanding policies and procedures, ensuring they match organizational strategies and objectives.
- Uses clear and effective verbal communications skills without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on expressing ideas, requesting actions, and formulating plans or policies.
- Works with guidance (but not constant supervision) to develop appropriate plans or perform necessary actions based on recommendations and requirements.
- Works with guidance (but not constant supervision) to review and create relevant, lucid, and effective reports.
- Manages and applies safe systems of work without supervision and provides technical guidance when required.
