Key Responsibilities
Haul construction materials and equipment safely and efficiently to job sites.
Operate within DOT regulations at all times, maintaining compliance.
Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on trucks as needed.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and job site supervisors.
Load and unload materials as required, following safety protocols.
Climb, bend, squat, and sit continuously throughout the workday.
Maintain an insurable driving record.
Work 40-60 hours per week as project demands require.
Follow all safety guidelines and participate in safety incentive programs.
Represent Taylor Construction professionally on all job sites.
Qualifications
Class A CDL required.
Previous driving experience in hauling construction materials and equipment preferred.
Ability to regularly lift up to 10 lbs., frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs., and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.
Must be able to climb, bend, squat, and sit continuously.
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test.
Must be able to work 40-60 hours per week.
An insurable driving record is a must.
Minimum 2 years of experience required.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Commitment to safety and following DOT regulations.
