Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, storage areas, and corridors to established standards of hygiene and presentation
- Replenish guest supplies and in-room materials according to room type requirements
- Handle guest laundry in accordance with hotel policy and procedures
- Report lost property and any defective or damaged equipment following proper procedures
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely, adhering to manufacturer instructions and OH&S regulations
- Maintain the security of guest rooms, keys, and property by following established security protocols
- Work efficiently on a rotating roster covering seven days, ensuring all assigned duties are completed to the required standard
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-6 months of housekeeping or cleaning experience, preferably within a hotel environment
- Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail and consistency in service quality
- Effective verbal communication skills for interaction with guests and team members
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments and manage time efficiently
