Tritech Group Ltd. is looking for a skilled Stainless Steel Pipe Welder to join our in-house mechanical team in Langley, BC. As a key contributor to our water and wastewater infrastructure projects, you will apply your high-precision TIG welding expertise to critical process piping systems. Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding components essential to our water treatment systems. Your duties will include:
- Performing precision TIG welding on stainless steel and steel process pipe, ensuring high-quality, code-compliant welds.
- Completing structural steel and miscellaneous metals fabrication work as required.
- Reading and interpreting complex piping isometrics, blueprints, and welding specifications.
- Laying out, assembling, fabricating, and repairing pressurized piping systems.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workspace in accordance with our strict safety culture.
- Performing other welding and shop duties as directed to support project timelines.
Qualifications
This position requires a certified professional with specific experience. The mandatory requirements are:
- A valid welding certification (Red Seal, BC Level A-B, or equivalent Canadian provincial certification).
- A Class A Certification from Technical Safety BC.
- A minimum of 2 years of Journeyman-level welding experience, with specific proficiency in TIG welding stainless steel pipe.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- A valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle (transit is not available to our Langley office).
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship.
Quality Assurance-Control experience, general metal fabrication skills, and pipefitting experience are strong assets.
