Key Responsibilities
- Greet and escort guests to their rooms, providing a warm and professional welcome that sets the tone for their stay.
- Open doors and assist guests and visitors entering and leaving the property with a friendly and helpful demeanor.
- Inform guests of property amenities, services, hours of operation, and local areas of interest and activities.
- Identify and explain room features to guests including use of room key, mini bar, ice and vending areas, in room safe, and valet laundry services.
- Transport guest luggage to and from guest rooms and the designated bell area, ensuring all items are handled with care.
- Assist with luggage storage and retrieval, maintaining organization and security of stored items.
- Assist guests and visitors in and out of vehicles, helping with loading and unloading luggage as needed.
- Supply guests with directions and arrange transportation including taxicabs, shuttle buses, and limousine or sedan services as requested.
- Communicate parking procedures to guests and visitors clearly and courteously.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
- Maintain awareness of undesirable persons on property premises to ensure guest safety.
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information.
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests, anticipate and address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
Qualifications
A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred. No related work experience is required as training will be provided to ensure you meet the brand’s service standards. Candidates must have a warm and welcoming demeanor with a genuine desire to help others. The ability to communicate clearly and professionally is essential. Physical requirements include the ability to move at a speed required to respond to work situations, stand, sit, or walk for an extended period, move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance and up to 75 pounds with assistance. The ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, up and down stairs and service ramps, and reach overhead and below the knees is required.
