Key Responsibilities
- Wear approved uniform including nametag at all times while working, following hotel time and attendance policies.
- Read and understand banquet event orders to know setup requirements, menu details, and service timelines.
- Set up linen, china, glass, and silver for each function according to the banquet event order specifications.
- Set up, maintain, inventory, and break down all beverage breaks and food buffets or food displays.
- Be knowledgeable of menu items, ingredients, methods of preparation, and appropriate garnish for each dish.
- Transport food and beverage items to guest tables in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality and temperature.
- Replenish guest beverages when necessary and inquire with guests to make sure they are satisfied.
