Key Responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, wash, wax, and polish floors to maintain clean and safe walking surfaces.
- Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to keep all areas fresh and well maintained.
- Make beds, change sheets, and distribute clean towels and toiletries to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction.
- Attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies promptly and courteously.
- Stock linen closets and other supply areas to ensure adequate inventory for daily operations.
- Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain high standards of hygiene.
- Clean and disinfect public areas such as changing rooms, showers, and elevators.
- Disinfect operating rooms and other hospital areas, following strict infection control protocols.
- Pick up debris and empty trash containers, ensuring proper waste disposal.
- Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and polished appearance.
- Report and store lost and found items according to established procedures.
- Provide basic information on facilities to guests and visitors when needed.
- Handle complaints with professionalism and escalate issues as appropriate.
Qualifications
Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services is preferred. Candidates must have the ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately. Strong attention to detail and time management skills are essential. Physical capability to perform cleaning tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods is required. Knowledge of cleaning products and techniques is important. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for interacting with guests, staff, and visitors.
