Key Responsibilities
- Perform testing and commissioning of electrical equipment, including transformers, switchgear, substations, and protection devices.
- Use test equipment such as Omicron, Baur, and Flir devices (training provided if needed).
- Carry out fault finding and diagnostic tasks to ensure systems meet operational standards.
- Assist in maintenance tasks for electrical systems within mining operations.
- Work safely and follow all company and regulatory safety procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to a high standard.
Qualifications
- Current WA Electrical Workers Licence (essential).
- Current Drivers Licence (essential).
- Police Clearance within the last 3 months (essential).
- LV Rescue & CPR certification (essential).
- HV Switching ticket (desirable).
- Working at heights and elevated work platform experience (desirable).
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Full working rights in Australia.
- Willingness to relocate to Kalgoorlie and pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.
