  • Conduct daily pre starts, toolbox meetings, and site safety inspections, managing controls for live plant, heavy vehicle movements, lifting operations, and exclusion zones.
  • Verify works against plans and specifications, overseeing installation tolerances for industrial slabs, pits, footings, plant plinths, and structural interfaces.
  • Coordinate hold points, inspections, ITP sign offs, and commissioning preparation, maintaining accurate daily records, progress reports, and as built notes.
  • Schedule and manage subcontractors to ensure works are sequenced to minimise downtime and interface clashes, providing clear direction to site crews and maintaining positive working relationships.
  • Manage laydown areas, service corridors, and site logistics to prevent congestion, while maintaining material quality and secure controlled storage where required.

Qualifications

A trade qualification in Civil, Carpentry, Concrete, or a similar discipline is required. A current White Card, First Aid, and High Risk Licences including EWP, Forklift, and Dogging or Rigging are advantageous. Familiarity with Procore, 1Breadcrumb, and Microsoft Suite is considered advantageous. Candidates must have previous experience supervising construction in industrial or heavy commercial environments, with a strong understanding of structural, civil, and services coordination.
