Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and perform receiving, picking, packing, issuing, and sampling of materials to support manufacturing and quality needs, ensuring all activities are carried out accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain impeccable inventory levels through diligent cycle counting and precise data entry into SAP and other database systems.
  • Monitor all inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring receiving, picking, and packing procedures are followed to meet operational timelines.
  • Contribute to warehouse team activities, supporting continuous improvement projects and maintaining consistent operational support.
  • Adhere strictly to current Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Distribution Practices, local and corporate policies, and safe handling requirements for material handling equipment.
  • Perform accurate order fulfillment; initiate and follow up on change requests and event discrepancies, ensuring proper labeling and segregation of materials.
  • Promptly escalate abnormal events to supervisors and maintain a safety first mindset by complying with all safety, health, and environment requirements.
  • Report workplace accidents, near misses, or hazards immediately, and observe site security measures to ensure a secure work environment.
  • Embody the Lean Production System mindset, actively leading and driving warehouse continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

A diploma, Higher NITEC, NITEC, or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related discipline is required. Prior experience in warehouse or logistics operations, preferably in a GMP regulated environment, is an advantage. Familiarity with enterprise resource planning systems and warehouse operations is preferred. Candidates must possess a valid forklift licence, as operating a forklift is an essential part of the role. A strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement is essential. Candidates must be willing to be based at the Tuas Bay Link location.
