Huskey Trailways is seeking a dependable and organized Operations/Sales Assistant to join their team in Festus, Missouri. This full-time role supports daily charter operations and ensures smooth coordination between drivers, customers, and the office. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, communicative, and comfortable handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with overtime as needed, and offers a starting pay of $20.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as on-call support for operational needs and emergencies
- Assign charters to drivers and communicate schedules and updates
- Print and distribute driver orders for all charters
- Map routes and ensure compliance with Hours of Service regulations
- Coordinate charter itineraries with customers, including parking, tolls, hotels, and logistics
- Book hotel rooms and arrange rental vehicles as needed
- Coordinate preventive maintenance and vehicle repairs with shop personnel
- Manage bus rescues or replacements to maintain uninterrupted service
- Coordinate daily vehicle cleaning priorities
- Maintain and confirm driver schedules, time-off requests, and exchanges
- Send daily reminders to drivers for upcoming charters
- Order fuel as needed for fleet operations
- Document accidents, incidents, and operational concerns
- Assist with accident and incident investigations
- Ensure full charter coverage during emergencies or driver cancellations
- Address and document vehicle performance concerns
- Drive company vehicles when requested (CDL preferred)
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Compliance and Safety
- Maintain compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations
- Monitor Hours of Service requirements
- Ensure all charter and vehicle requirements are met
